CHAPTER EIGHTEENCollapse )

We're used to paying attention to art direction in the works of Zack Snyder, Taratino, and Oscar-Worthy period pieces. We're used to watching Gossip Girl for juicy scandal and ridiculously pretty people. However, every now and then when I watch GG I notice a few striking images here and there... something that suggests that maybe these people are smarter than we give them credit for. This is a compilation of several such striking images from the show, in chronological order. The caps are not chosen because of any relevance to plot but for purely aesthetic purposes.

Some of the things taken into consideration are composition, color, lightning, proportion, etc... Some of the scenes are more referential while others very modern. A lot of these are images which I like to think that people would want to print out and hang on their wall, regardless of knowing the context of the scene.

PART THREE / SEASON THREECollapse )

Title: Not Of This Earth
Author: honeychuckles
Characters: N-JBC
Synopsis: So you know how there's all these vampire-related GG fics popping up lately because of TB, VD, and that other one where they don't have sex? I was thinking back to that split second between 1999 and 2002 when aliens were considered sexy... and decided to write a GG version. Except I didn't have that much patience so it's just a drabble heavily inspired by Roswell.

It Was You.Collapse )
